TRYP by Wyndham Pulteney Street Adelaide opened in March 2023 as a AU$50 million, 120-room ground-up build in the CBD, the first hotel developed by South Australia's Ginos Group and the TRYP brand's debut in the state.

The place

TRYP by Wyndham sits on Pulteney Street in the CBD, within easy walking distance of Adelaide Zoo, the Botanic Gardens, the Art Gallery of South Australia and Adelaide Oval.

The concept

Opened in March 2023 as a AU$50 million ground-up development by South Australian developer Ginos Group, this was the company's first hotel build and the debut of Wyndham's TRYP brand in South Australia; at the time it was Australia's only TRYP-branded hotel. The 120 rooms span Standard, Deluxe and six corner Executive Suites on the eleventh floor, pitched at TRYP's self-described urban, lifestyle-boutique positioning aimed at design-conscious, tech-savvy travellers. It is a straightforward but well-located CBD debut for a brand better known in Europe, giving Wyndham a foothold in Adelaide's lifestyle-hotel segment without the heritage-conversion story that defines several of its CBD neighbours.

Dining & wellness

Z Bar and Z Café serve South Australian wines, craft beer and locally sourced menus; the hotel also has a gym, a library and a small boardroom for meetings.
