The place
Norfolk Street/Exchange Street in Manchester city centre, inside the Grade II-listed former Manchester Stock Exchange building.
The concept
The first-ever hotel conversion of the former Manchester Stock Exchange building — never previously used as a hotel — developed by GG Hospitality, the hospitality venture of former footballers Gary Neville and Ryan Giggs alongside Winston Zahra and other partners, who also own Manchester's Hotel Football. It opened in November 2019 as a 40-room luxury boutique property and later joined Marriott's Autograph Collection, which the operators said reflected the hotel's positioning as one of a portfolio of "distinctive, independent hotels."
Dining & wellness
The hotel's restaurant launched as Tom Kerridge's Bull and Bear before closing in 2022; it now operates as Tender, led by chef Niall Keating, formerly executive chef at Whatley Manor.
