Cow Hollow Hotel opened in January 2018 inside a restored textile warehouse on Newton Street in Manchester's Northern Quarter. The independently owned, 16-room boutique property, run by Mujtaba and Amelia Rana, kept the building's original oak beams, marble fireplaces and sash windows through its first-ever use as a hotel.

The concept
A restored turn-of-the-century textile warehouse in the Northern Quarter, converted into a 16-room boutique hotel by husband-and-wife owners Mujtaba and Amelia Rana — its first use as a hotel. The conversion kept original features including high ceilings, exposed oak beams, marble fireplaces and walnut sash windows, adding artwork commissioned from local artists.
Dining & wellness
A cocktail bar in the lobby serves drinks around the clock; rooms come with king-size beds and rainfall-shower bathrooms rather than the property offering a full restaurant.
