The concept
The first-ever hotel conversion of the former Manchester & Salford Trustees Savings Bank building, an Italian Renaissance-style structure built in 1872 by local architect Edward Salomons — never previously operated as a hotel. Eclectic Hotels opened the 40-room property in December 2015, organised into five room categories (Snug, Cosy, Comfy, Luxe JS and Suite).

King Street Tavern, the hotel's bar and restaurant, has a south-facing roof lounge and terrace available for private hire; a rooftop Infinity Spa Pool with views of Manchester Town Hall sits alongside a fitness centre and steam room.
