Approved in 2025 and now under construction on the corner of South Main Street and East Vickery Boulevard, this five-story, 156-room SpringHill Suites is developer Raymond Management Co.'s fifth Fort Worth project. It brings a standard Marriott select-service format to a fast-growing restaurant district that has so far had few hotel rooms of its own.

The place

The hotel is planned for the northeast corner of South Main Street and East Vickery Boulevard (101 East Vickery Blvd), in Fort Worth's Near Southside/South Main district just south of downtown. The area has built out fast over the past decade around the Texas & Pacific train station and a dense strip of independent restaurants and bars, and city reporting has flagged it as underserved by hotel rooms relative to its dining and event traffic.

The concept

Approved by the city in 2025, this is a ground-up, five-story, 156-room new build developed and operated by Raymond Management Co., a Wisconsin-based hotel company for whom it is a fifth Fort Worth project alongside its Hampton Inn & Suites downtown, Hilton Garden Inn and Homewood Suites in the Medical District, and Residence Inn at Waterside. Renderings filed with the city credit Dallas firm BOKA Powell as architect, with the ground floor designed to activate the street corner with public dining, lounge and bar space and floors two through five given over to guestrooms; the project also includes 44 on-site parking spaces plus 38 more via an agreement on a lot across Industrial Drive. As a SpringHill Suites, the brand sits a notch below Marriott's boutique and lifestyle tiers (AC Hotels, Autograph Collection) already covered in this guide — it's an all-suite, extended-stay-leaning format built for business and leisure travelers who want space and consistency, not a design-led stay. The interest here is almost entirely about location: a standard-issue Marriott product being used to plug a real hotel-room shortage in one of Fort Worth's fastest-changing neighborhoods.

Dining & wellness

Filed plans describe first-floor public space for dining, lounge and bar use, but no restaurant operator, spa or pool has been announced; SpringHill Suites properties typically run on complimentary buffet breakfast and a fitness center rather than a full food-and-beverage program, and nothing so far indicates this one will differ.
