The place
The Crescent stands on Camp Bowie Boulevard at Van Cliburn Way in Fort Worth's Cultural District, directly across from the Kimbell Art Museum and within walking distance of the Modern Art Museum of Fort Worth and Dickies Arena.
The concept
Opened in November 2023, The Crescent is a five-story, ground-up luxury hotel anchoring a $275 million mixed-use development by financier John Goff, alongside a Class AA office tower, luxury residences and Goff's own Canyon Ranch wellness club. Architecture is by OZ Architecture, interiors by Rottet Studio and the food and beverage concept by AvroKO, with a stated design language of stone, wood, metal, concrete and locally sourced brick. Goff has described the hotel as "Fort Worth's living room," and the property leans into that ambition with a curated local and international art program and close ties to the neighboring museums — positioning it as a cultural anchor as much as a place to sleep. It was named the No. 1 hotel in Texas in Condé Nast Traveler's 2024 Readers' Choice Awards.
Dining & wellness
Emilia's, a Mediterranean-inspired restaurant, includes the Blue Room, a fine-dining space led by executive chef Preston Paine. Circle Bar operates in the lobby through the day and evening, and there is a rooftop bar with panoramic Cultural District views.
