Rosewood Brisbane

Rosewood Hotels & Resorts is set to open its first Australian property atop Queen's Wharf Brisbane, a AU$3.6 billion riverside redevelopment combining a casino, retail and five hotel brands. Marketed as the country's only ultra-luxury six-star hotel, Rosewood Brisbane will share its tower with the Dorsett and give guests access to a sky deck 26 floors above the Brisbane River. Room count and a firm opening date have not yet been published.

The hotel sits in Tower 1 of Queen's Wharf Brisbane, behind the heritage Printery buildings on the Brisbane River, at the center of a precinct that also houses a casino, retail and four other hotel brands.

The concept

Rosewood's Brisbane debut is positioned as the ultra-luxury anchor of Queen's Wharf, a precinct developer Destination Brisbane Consortium has rolled out in phases since 2019. Sharing its tower with the four-and-a-half-star Dorsett, the hotel gives guests private access to a sky deck on level 26 — part of a broader bet that Brisbane can support six-star hospitality ahead of the city's 2032 Olympic Games.
