The place
The hotel is at 100 East Sheridan Avenue in Bricktown, Oklahoma City's canal-front entertainment district, within walking distance of the Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark, Paycom Center, and the Oklahoma City Convention Center.
The concept
Developed by Anish Hotels Group and opened in July 2022, the Renaissance Oklahoma City Downtown Bricktown is a ground-up, 182-room, 10-floor hotel built specifically to serve Bricktown — a canal-side district of restaurants, bars, and sports venues that, until this opening, had no full-service hotel of its own. Its arrival coincided with the completion of the new Oklahoma City Convention Center a few blocks away, positioning it as a walkable overflow option for conference visitors as well as a base for Bricktown's nightlife and ballgame crowd. The hotel doesn't attempt a strong design statement; its value proposition is squarely about location — canal, ballpark, and convention center all within a few minutes on foot — packaged in Marriott's upscale Renaissance format.
Dining & wellness
Culprits Restaurant handles the hotel's dining, alongside an in-lobby Starbucks; the property also has a fitness center and valet parking, with rooms and public areas looking out over Bricktown and the downtown skyline.
