Fordson Hotel opened in April 2024 inside a century-old Ford Motor Company assembly plant in Oklahoma City's West Village District, becoming The Unbound Collection by Hyatt's first Oklahoma property. The 135-room hotel keeps the factory's original Albert Kahn-designed brick and steel structure on full display.

Fordson Hotel occupies the former Ford Motor Company assembly plant at 900 West Main Street in Oklahoma City's West Village District, a former industrial corridor just west of downtown now being redeveloped for hospitality and residential use.

The concept

Fordson opened on April 4, 2024, as The Unbound Collection by Hyatt's first hotel in Oklahoma, inside a Ford Motor Company assembly plant that dates to the early 20th century and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Designed originally by industrial architect Albert Kahn, the building's factory-scale windows, brick, and steelwork are kept visible throughout the 135-room hotel, with loft-style guestrooms layered in on top. Owned by Hall Capital and managed by Avion Hospitality, the project is one of the more literal industrial-to-hospitality conversions in Oklahoma City's recent hotel wave — it leans on the building's manufacturing past for its identity (the name itself nods to the Fordson tractor brand) rather than disguising it, and it has become an anchor for the wider redevelopment of the West Village District around it.

Dining & wellness

Mary Eddy's Dining Room serves as the hotel's main restaurant, alongside a Pool Bar and Bodega for casual food and drink, and a Lobby Lounge; an outdoor pool deck sits among the original industrial architecture.
