The concept

First announced in late 2023, The Elm Hotel is planned as a 140-room boutique property with groundbreaking targeted for the second quarter of 2025 and an opening roughly 18 months later, placing its debut in late 2026. It's designed as the hospitality piece of The Half, a roughly $200 million lifestyle center that has already opened karting, mini-golf, and entertainment venues on the same site. As a still-unbuilt project, the hotel's identity beyond its room count and amenity list — fitness center, pool, conference rooms, rooftop bar — is not yet public; its main significance for the guide is as a second bet, alongside Chisholm Creek, on north Oklahoma City as new hotel territory outside the traditional downtown core.
