The Lytle Park Hotel opened in 2020 in two connected historic buildings overlooking Cincinnati's Lytle Park — the 1909 former Anna Louise Inn and the 1919 Earl Building — joined by a glass atrium and reworked into a 106-room Autograph Collection hotel by Western & Southern Financial Group.

The place

The hotel overlooks Lytle Park in Cincinnati's oldest neighborhood, occupying the 1909 former Anna Louise Inn and the adjoining 1919 Earl Building — a pair of historic structures owned by Western & Southern Financial Group after the Anna Louise Inn, a residence for young working women, relocated in 2013.

The concept

San Francisco firm ForrestPerkins joined the two century-old buildings with a glass-vaulted atrium that pulls the adjacent park's greenery into the lobby, and built 106 rooms with a neo-Tudor-inflected, deep-blue-and-warm-wood palette. Because the site had stood vacant for years after the Anna Louise Inn moved out, the project is a genuine new hotel operation rather than a renovation of an operating hotel, even though the buildings themselves are over a century old.

Dining & wellness

Subito restaurant handles all-day dining downstairs, with a rooftop bar adding skyline views above the park.
