The place

The Fidelity Hotel occupies the 1913 Gwynne Building at Sixth and Main, a 13-story Beaux-Arts landmark designed by Ernest Flagg and commissioned by Alice Claypoole Gwynne Vanderbilt, in Downtown Cincinnati's Fountain District.

The concept

Opened July 28, 2026 after an $81 million redevelopment, Fidelity is a member of the Curator Hotel & Resort Collection, operated by Austin-based New Waterloo, and one of the few large hotels downtown not run by a major chain brand. Looney & Associates' design team drew on archival drawings from the building's history — including a stint as Procter & Gamble's corporate headquarters — to fuse classical Parisian references with Cincinnati's local identity across 165 rooms, among them 17 suites, two bunkrooms and a presidential suite.

Dining & wellness

Gwynne, the signature restaurant and lobby bar, serves contemporary American cooking built around regional growers and makers; Cora's All Day Café runs a market-inspired coffee-and-pastry morning that shifts into sandwiches, salads, charcuterie and wine through the day. A 24-hour fitness center is equipped with Peloton, CLMBR and FORME Life gear.
