The place
Hyatt Centric Cincinnati is being built into the AT580 complex, a 17-story downtown tower that formerly housed Fifth Third Bancorp offices before Birkla Investment Group acquired and began converting it to mixed use.
The concept
Announced in February 2025 by Hyatt Hotels Corporation and Birkla Investment Group, this will be the Hyatt Centric brand's debut in Ohio and a ground-up conversion of vacant bank office floors into a 170-room hotel, managed by Commonwealth Hotels. Guestrooms are planned with a modern, destination-inspired look and decor developed with local artists, following the brand's standard positioning as a social, exploration-oriented lifestyle hotel rather than a standard business property.
