Always exceptional service whether visiting from out of town or a staycation for locals looking for an elevated luxury stay even just for a night. Knowing the hotel well, we had a large group for a staycation & service stood out this week thanks to Wendi at the front desk who having overheard some conversation gracefully suggested a neighborhood tip we were previously unaware of. She & other staff indulged us with lots of patience taking group photos as well. When we returned from brunch with our neice, a toddler, Wendi was quick to find & give her a new stuffed animal. Cannot say enough about the staff & management. Francisco at Isabelle's is also exceptionally gracious & makes a fabulous coffee to your liking. Cheers to a great stay ~ Thank You.
Is this the perfect hotel? I think so. I am yet to find a hotel that so completely combines top notch service, amazing culinary options and every facility one could want, wrapped up in a contemporary, effortlessly stylish setting that feels like you're at home. Where to start? On arrival, a genuine heartfelt welcome from all staff, the General Manager, Julian, set the tone with his friendly demeanour and 'nothing is too much trouble' attitude. That level of attention is reflected in all the staff though and I genuinely can't remember one request that was not acted on immediately and to my satisfaction. The food and drinks are amazing and as for the facilities; having so many top class dining options on site, plus your own bar/club in the classy basement lounge and an effortlessly cool rooftop swimming pool and sun lounging area make the hotel the complete package. I was so sad to leave this place and seriously considered extending my stay and would have had I not had other commitments. I will be back for sure, I just wish the owners of Swexan had more hotels just like this in other towns.
My recent stay at the Swexan Hotel was an unforgettable five-star experience from start to finish. This hotel seamlessly blends historic elegance with modern, sophisticated design.
The moment I stepped into the grand ballroom, I was taken by its stunning classical architecture, complete with intricate molding and a bold, black-and-white checkered floor. It was the perfect setting for a formal event.
Our room was a sanctuary of comfort and style. The custom grey headboard and stylish blue-and-white geometric rug made the space feel both cozy and curated. I particularly appreciated the large windows that framed beautiful city views. The bathroom was equally impressive, with marble finishes throughout, a spacious double vanity, and a wonderful walk-in shower.
The highlight of the trip, however, was the rooftop. The Swexan has created an absolute oasis with a shimmering pool, comfortable in-water lounge chairs, and chic poolside cabanas. We spent hours relaxing under the stylish scalloped umbrellas, enjoying the stunning cityscape.
The service was impeccable throughout, and every detail, from the neatly folded yellow towels by the pool to the thoughtfully arranged room amenities, was perfect. If you’re looking for a luxurious and unforgettable escape, the Swexan Hotel is the perfect choice. I can’t wait to return!
An absolute 10/10 experience at the Swexan! My lovely friends treated me to a much-needed lunch and pool day, and we had an unforgettable time from the moment we arrived. From the gorgeous, chic ambiance and the stunning pool deck to the incredible, delicious food and drinks, absolutely everything was pure perfection. A massive shout-out and thank you to our server, Katie, whose sweet, warm, and exceptionally attentive service made our day truly extraordinary. We are already looking forward to our next visit—we can't wait to come back!
