Resorts World Las Vegas

Resorts World Las Vegas opened on the Strip's north end in June 2021 as the first ground-up resort built there in more than a decade, pairing a $4.3 billion casino resort with three separate Hilton brands under one roof. Its 3,500 rooms and suites, split across Las Vegas Hilton, Conrad and the ultra-luxury Crockfords, make up what Hilton has called the largest multi-brand hotel agreement in its history.

The place

Resorts World occupies an 88-acre parcel at the northern tip of the Las Vegas Strip, on ground that sat undeveloped for years after the Stardust was imploded in 2007 and Boyd Gaming's planned Echelon replacement stalled during the recession. Genting bought the site in 2013 and broke ground in 2015, so the resort's 2021 debut effectively closed an eleven-year gap in new Strip megaresort openings. The address sits apart from the dense mid-Strip cluster of MGM and Caesars properties, closer instead to the Las Vegas Convention Center, with which it now shares a dedicated Vegas Loop tunnel station.

The concept

Resorts World is Genting Berhad's first Las Vegas property, built at a reported cost of $4.3 billion and operated in partnership with Hilton rather than by Genting itself. The two companies structured the deal as three tiers of Hilton hotel under one 88-acre roof: Las Vegas Hilton at Resorts World supplies the bulk of the inventory with 1,774 full-service rooms and suites; Conrad Las Vegas at Resorts World adds 1,496 rooms and suites, making it the largest Conrad hotel in the world; and Crockfords Las Vegas, operating under Hilton's LXR Hotels & Resorts banner, tops the property with 236 ultra-luxury rooms and suites and its own separate arrival experience. That three-tier structure is the resort's defining idea: rather than one undifferentiated mega-hotel, Resorts World stacks a mainstream Strip hotel, an upscale Conrad and a boutique ultra-luxury Crockfords on shared infrastructure — a 117,000-square-foot casino floor, 250,000 square feet of meeting and event space, and a 5,000-seat theater that opened with a Celine Dion residency. The arrangement lets the resort court convention groups and gaming-focused Strip tourists through its Hilton-branded rooms while offering Crockfords guests a quieter, higher-touch stay layered on top of the same address.

Dining & wellness

The resort runs more than 40 restaurants, bars and lounges, including Carversteak, Brezza, Genting Palace, FUHU and Kusa Nori, alongside Famous Foods Street Eats, a food hall built around Southeast Asian and other international street fare. The 66th-floor Alle Lounge and Zouk Nightclub anchor the nightlife program, while a 5.5-acre pool complex — home to the only infinity-edge pool on the Strip — spans several distinct pool experiences, including the adults-only AYU Dayclub. A 27,000-square-foot spa with 23 treatment rooms completes the wellness offering.
