Radisson RED Sydney Haymarket
Radisson RED's first Australian hotel, a 328-room, 31-storey tower at the gateway to Sydney's CBD, is set to open in Haymarket in 2029.
Announced · 2029
Radisson RED Sydney Haymarket is planned as the brand's first Australian property, a 328-room, 31-storey tower rising at the southern edge of Sydney's CBD near Central Station and Darling Harbour. Signed in August 2026 by Radisson Hotel Group and developer Ceerose, it targets a 2029 opening.

The place
A new-build, 31-storey tower in Haymarket at the southern gateway to Sydney's CBD, about 200 metres from Central Station and steps from the Sydney Light Rail's Haymarket stop, Chinatown and Darling Harbour.
The concept
Radisson RED Sydney Haymarket will be Radisson Hotel Group's first Radisson RED in Australia, developed by Sydney-based builder-developer Ceerose (founder and managing director Edward Doueihi) on a new-build 31-storey tower. The deal was signed on 26 August 2026 as part of Radisson's stated push to expand its Australasia footprint. The 328-room hotel sits at what Radisson and Ceerose describe as the gateway to the CBD, within walking distance of the International Convention Centre, Sydney's university precinct and the Tech Central innovation district, and about 6.3 kilometres from Sydney Airport. As with other Radisson RED properties, the brand is positioned as an upper-upscale lifestyle concept aimed at design-conscious business and leisure travellers rather than a traditional business hotel.
Dining & wellness
Plans call for a restaurant, a lobby café-bar and a separate pool bar, alongside an outdoor swimming pool, a fitness centre and roughly 218 square metres of meeting space — a lifestyle-hotel food-and-beverage mix typical of the Radisson RED brand. No operator, chef or venue names have been announced this far ahead of opening.
