The place
At 88 Broadway on the corner of Abercrombie Street, the hotel occupies the Eastern Tower of the Central Park development in Chippendale, next to the vertical-garden One Central Park towers and a short walk from Central Station.
The concept
Opened in August 2018, Four Points by Sheraton Sydney, Central Park was built as the final phase of the Central Park urban renewal project, a joint venture between Frasers Property Australia and Sekisui House Australia on the former Kent Brewery site. The hotel gave Marriott's mid-market Four Points brand a purpose-built Sydney address rather than a conversion, aimed at both business travellers and visitors to the surrounding retail and dining precinct.
Dining & wellness
Central Quarter, the ground-floor restaurant, opens directly onto Broadway with an open kitchen and outdoor seating; Malt Bar next door focuses on craft beer and spirits.
