David Chipperfield's 25-story Miami Design District tower will house the second US outpost of Fouquet's, the storied Champs-Élysées brasserie's hospitality arm — an 85-room hotel with RDAI-designed interiors and five in-house dining concepts, targeted for 2030.

The place
39 NE 39th Street, in the Miami Design District — Craig Robins' and Dacra's fashion-and-art quarter of flagship boutiques and galleries, a short walk from Wynwood and a few minutes' drive from downtown Miami and South Beach.
The concept
A 25-story tower designed by Pritzker Prize winner David Chipperfield will pair 143 residential condos with an attached 85-key hotel run by Fouquet's, the 1899 Champs-Élysées brasserie acquired by Groupe Barrière in 1998, which built the Hôtel Barrière Le Fouquet's in Paris in 2006. This is Fouquet's second US hotel, after Hôtel Barrière Fouquet's New York opened in TriBeCa in 2022 — not the brand's US debut. RDAI, the Paris studio behind Hermès boutiques worldwide, is handling interiors, aiming for what the developers have called a showcase of French luxury inside a contemporary American tower.
Dining & wellness
Fouquet's will run the entire food and beverage program across five distinct in-house dining concepts, alongside a rooftop with a roughly 70-foot pool and bar and more than 40,000 square feet of spa, wellness and fitness facilities.
