Cheval Collection is bringing its Cheval Maison serviced-apartment brand to Glasgow for the first time, converting a West Regent Street site in the Blythswood Hill conservation area into 70 apartments with a rooftop terrace bar. Groundbreaking took place in November 2022, but the opening date has already slipped twice, from an original 2024 target to a current 2026 estimate.

The concept
Cheval Collection's first Glasgow property and its fifth in Scotland, a new-build serviced-apartment scheme designed to fit the Blythswood Hill conservation area's streetscape rather than stand apart from it. First announced in 2022 with a 2024 target, the opening date slipped first to 2025 and now to 2026, with groundbreaking in November 2022 and construction under way since.
Dining & wellness
Plans include a ground-floor restaurant, a gymnasium, a lounge area and a rooftop terrace bar with panoramic city views; no operator or concept name has been announced for any of these yet.
