The place
At 219 South Broad Street, the hotel sits directly on the Avenue of the Arts — Philadelphia's theater and performing-arts corridor — a few minutes' walk from City Hall and a short drive from Independence Hall and Reading Terminal Market.
The concept
Developed by Pearl Properties with Concord Hospitality, the 15-story tower was built from the ground up rather than converted, giving Cambria a clean slate to lean into a music-and-arts theme: furnishings and artwork throughout reference the Avenue of the Arts setting. It's a straightforward upscale-brand debut rather than a historic story — the interest here is Choice Hotels staking a claim in a Center City corridor otherwise dominated by legacy Marriott and Hilton flags.
Dining & wellness
Attico, a 3,000-square-foot rooftop restaurant and bar, is the only rooftop dining room on Broad Street and the property's clearest differentiator; Del Frisco's Grille occupies the ground floor with an upscale bar-and-grill menu and private dining room.
