St. Regis Queenstown

Marriott will debut St. Regis in New Zealand with a 145-room hotel on the Queenstown lakefront, opening in late 2027. The property pairs the brand's signature butler service with hydrothermal spa facilities and views across Lake Wakatipu to The Remarkables.

The hotel occupies a prominent corner site in central Queenstown, facing Lake Wakatipu with views to The Remarkables mountain range.

The concept

Developed by PHC Queenstown under an agreement with Marriott, this new-build property marks both St. Regis's first hotel in New Zealand and Marriott's first in Queenstown — the brand's third signing across Australia, New Zealand and the Pacific. It brings the marque's signature butler service and ritual-driven hospitality to a resort town built on alpine scenery rather than urban glamour.

Dining & wellness

The Drawing Room and the St. Regis Bar for dining and cocktails, an all-day dining venue, a St. Regis Spa with a hydrothermal facilities zone and relaxation lounge, an indoor heated pool and a fitness centre.
