The place

Set on the same Binara Street block as its InterContinental sibling, Hotel Indigo Canberra sits within the 'One Binara' precinct connecting City Walk to Glebe Park, in the city centre near Parliament House and Lake Burley Griffin.

The concept

Hotel Indigo Canberra is the boutique lifestyle counterpart to InterContinental Canberra within the dual-brand 'One Binara' redevelopment, replacing the existing Crowne Plaza Canberra. IHG describes it as a personalised, curated experience reflecting the local area, consistent with the brand's neighbourhood-story positioning elsewhere. Announced in May 2025 alongside the InterContinental as part of IHG and Salter Brothers' wider Australian luxury-and-lifestyle expansion, the two hotels will share 530 rooms and roughly 350 apartments across a 14-storey, two-tower scheme.

Dining & wellness

No restaurants, bars or spa facilities specific to Hotel Indigo Canberra have been announced; ground-floor retail and a dining precinct are planned for the wider One Binara site, shared across both hotels.
