Aloft Kansas City Country Club Plaza

Aloft Kansas City Country Club Plaza opened in January 2023 as the first half of a $100-million-plus dual-hotel project on the Plaza, bringing Marriott's design-led, music-inspired Aloft brand to Kansas City's premier shopping district.

The place

The seven-story hotel sits at 393 W. 46th Street, on the edge of Kansas City's Country Club Plaza shopping and dining district, part of a $100–105 million dual-hotel development shared with its sister property, Cascade Hotel.

The concept

Aloft Kansas City Country Club Plaza opened January 13, 2023 as new construction, the first of two hotels to open as part of a shared development on the Plaza. It brought Marriott's music-and-design-forward Aloft brand to Kansas City with its signature Re:mix lobby built around live-performance space, microphone-shaped light fixtures and recording-booth-style seating, plus loft-style rooms with 9-foot ceilings and large windows. The hotel is connected by walkway to the larger Cascade Hotel next door, letting guests cross over for Cascade's food hall, spa and event space — a shared-amenity model uncommon for a 121-room property on its own.

Dining & wellness

The hotel includes onsite restaurant and catering service, plus guest access via a connecting walkway to the food hall, coffee bar and lounge of its sister property, Cascade Hotel, next door.
