The concept

Australia's third Ritz-Carlton, after Perth and Melbourne, trades the brand's usual tower format for a low, water-level footprint dictated by height limits on The Spit. A 275-square-metre Ritz-Carlton Suite tops the room mix, aimed at a luxury leisure and events market drawn to the Gold Coast's beaches and the adjoining Mariner's Cove marina precinct.

A signature restaurant with semi-open kitchens, a café, three bars — including a poolside bar and lobby lounge — a Ritz-Carlton Spa and a rooftop pool round out the offer, alongside a 512-square-metre ballroom for events.
