The place
The hotel sits in Scottsdale's Entertainment District, the compact grid of clubs, restaurants and shops northeast of Old Town that anchors the city's nightlife scene, a short walk from Fashion Square and the Old Town gallery corridor. Camelback Mountain is visible from upper floors and the rooftop. Built new rather than converted, the twelve-story tower connects directly to Maya Day + Nightclub via third-floor guest rooms and event space, putting the property inside the district's densest cluster of bars and restaurants rather than adjacent to it. It is a downtown-adjacent, walkable location built for guests prioritizing proximity to nightlife over resort seclusion.
The concept
The REMI is a ground-up build with public spaces by Rockwell Group and guest room interiors by RSP Architects, run under Crescent Hotels & Resorts management as Marriott's first Autograph Collection hotel in Scottsdale. The 161 keys include 25 suites, among them two Loft Suites that open directly onto the pool deck; rooms carry spa-inspired rain showers, custom robes and Côte Beauty amenities, with most units drawing on expansive windows and Camelback Mountain views. The design leans into what the operator calls a modern Western aesthetic — upscale materials, rich textures — pitched at a younger, socially driven traveler rather than a traditional business or family stay. That positioning shows most clearly in the hotel's relationship to Maya Day + Nightclub, the adjacent venue it connects to physically and commercially: room keys unlock VIP entry, and the third-floor link folds nightclub access into the stay rather than treating it as a nearby attraction. The rooftop pool, Allegra, reinforces the same target — a Moroccan-inspired deck with cabanas and DJ sets rather than a quiet lap pool. Dining across the property, curated with Alliance Hospitality Group and Riot Hospitality Group, follows the same brief: theatrical, visually driven venues built for a crowd bachelor parties and trend-conscious travelers, more than for solitary business trips.
Dining & wellness
Five venues span the property. Kauboi is a Japanese-Western steakhouse serving robata-grilled dishes, sushi and a tableside 40-ounce tomahawk ribeye alongside a Japanese whisky list, with Kauboi Terrace adding a roughly 9,575-square-foot outdoor lounge with a double-sided fireplace. F/Sixteen is a fighter-jet-themed American diner covering breakfast through late-night comfort food and boozy milkshakes. Allegra, the twelfth-floor rooftop pool and bar, pairs Camelback Mountain views with mezze platters and cocktails, while The Lobby Bar runs all day from espresso to espresso martinis and doors directly into Maya Day + Nightclub.
