Announced · Spring 2028

The concept
Whitbread acquired the long-lease interest on this Sandyford Business Park site in December 2023 and secured planning permission from Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council in May 2025. Construction broke ground with Galway-based Monami Construction as main contractor, targeting an 18-month build for the brand's first outer-Dublin property and ninth hotel in Ireland overall — chosen for Sandyford's dense cluster of international corporate occupiers and transport links, an area Whitbread describes as underserved by affordable, branded hotels. The 157-room property uses Premier Inn's latest room format, including its 'enhanced' Premier Plus rooms. It is part of a wider push that has lifted Whitbread's Irish room target from 3,500 to 5,000 beds, with four further outer-Dublin sites and several city-centre and regional locations under consideration.
