Olde Naples Hotel opens as a ground-up rebuild in the Third Street South Historic District, designed by Hart Howerton to evoke the original 1889 Naples Hotel that once stood on the site. The 109-room property, part of Opal Collection, pairs cottage-inspired design with a rooftop pool one block from the beach.

The place
The hotel sits on Third Street South in the Old Naples Historic District, one block from the beach, on the site of the original 1889 Naples Hotel.
The concept
Designed by Hart Howerton, the new-build property draws its architectural cues directly from the town's first hotel, which stood on this site in 1889, reinterpreted through Old Naples cottage-style forms — dormered rooflines, lofted wood ceilings, vintage patterns in soft whites and blues. It positions itself as a boutique, history-referencing alternative to Naples' resort-scale beachfront hotels.
Dining & wellness
Annie's Bistro, Bar & Bakery shifts from espresso and pastries by morning to an American dinner menu by night beneath a gilded ceiling and large-scale murals, complemented by a rooftop pool with shaded cabanas, a full-service spa and fitness center, plus complimentary bicycles and beach shuttle service.
