During our visit to Hobart, we stayed at this hotel for four nights and had a wonderful experience. The hotel was very clean, and the location was excellent, making it easy to explore the city. Our room was comfortable and spotless, and the housekeeping team did an excellent job cleaning it every day. The front desk staff were always friendly, welcoming, and helpful. Breakfast was another highlight, with a great selection of fresh, delicious food every morning. Overall, we had a fantastic stay and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Hobart. We would definitely stay here again!

So we stayed at this hotel during our trip to Hobart and honestly, no regrets at all. The room was clean, comfortable, and well presented. We really enjoyed the swimming pool and gym facilities as well. The reception area had a lovely atmosphere, and the staff were always smiling, welcoming, and helpful. The warm cookie on arrival was a very nice touch too. Although we didn’t use the hotel parking, the staff kindly helped us with a street parking map and explained where free parking was available after 4pm, which we really appreciated. Overall, we had a very pleasant stay and would happily return again.

We stayed at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hobart for a family holiday in early January and had a wonderful experience. Check-in was seamless, and Kat at reception was particularly lovely and helpful. The signature warm cookies on arrival were a delightful touch! While the rooms are slightly smaller than average, they are exceptionally clean and well-serviced daily. The beds are comfortable with high-quality linen, and having an in-room coffee machine was a great bonus. We were upgraded to Level 7, which offered a lovely view. We also thoroughly enjoyed the heated indoor pool and free sauna. We dined at Leatherwood on our first night; the meals were reasonable, and the bar offered a good selection of wines, gins, and cocktails. The daily bottled water was also much appreciated. Thanks for allowing us late check out to line up with our flights back home. Areas for improvement: While the breakfast buffet is good for a short stay, the menu becomes a bit repetitive. It would be great to see more variety, particularly an alternative to pork sausages for those with dietary preferences. On a practical note, adding a pull-out clothesline in the shower would be helpful for drying swimwear. A highlight for me was the bathrobe—as a shorter person, I usually drown in ‘one size fits all’ robes, but these were a perfect fit! The hotel is a relaxed 15-minute stroll from the city centre. Overall, a great stay with fantastic customer experience. The staff should be commended for their work. We would definitely return."

We’ve just concluded a seven-night stay at DoubleTree by Hilton Hobart and were very impressed overall. We arrived late after a long travel day from Perth and were immediately given a lovely room with the floor-to-ceiling windows shown on the hotel website, which we had been hoping for. The night manager that evening, Charles, was proactive and attentive. Shortly after we settled in, he sent a message to check that we were happy with the room. We were, and there was also a welcome note along with a beautiful block of chocolates, which was a thoughtful touch and made us feel genuinely welcomed. Throughout the week, staff consistently recognised us and were warm and responsive. Housekeeping and front desk were attentive, and the stay felt well managed despite the hotel being busy. The location is excellent, an easy walk to Salamanca Place and the waterfront, which made exploring Hobart very convenient. We also enjoyed the pool and sauna facilities. The fitness room was basic but functional for a short workout. We tried breakfast once during our stay and found it somewhat underwhelming for the price, which is why we chose to dine elsewhere on other mornings. A comfortable room, great service and a team that clearly cares about guest experience. We would happily stay again.

Excellent value for money and a fantastic base for exploring Hobart. The hotel is modern, well located, and within easy walking distance of Salamanca Market and the waterfront. We stayed for three nights and had a great experience from check in to check out. The Leatherwood Restaurant was excellent, the rooms were quiet and comfortable, and the floor to ceiling windows on the 7th floor offered stunning views. The gym, pool, and sauna were perfect after a day of sightseeing. Hilton Honors benefits added great value, and secure parking was a bonus. Highly recommended and Mitchell at front desk was spot on when it comes to service.
