The place

The hotel occupies its original Collins Avenue address in South Beach, the block that helped define 1990s Miami hotel culture.

The concept

First opened in 1947 and reinvented by Philippe Starck under Ian Schrager in the 1990s, the Delano returns after a ground-up, six-year renovation now under Ennismore. The redesign preserves signature elements — the columned entrance, draped white fabrics, terrazzo floors and the quartz-topped Rose Bar counter — while adding a members club and new dining.

Dining & wellness

Dining includes Gigi Rigolatto for coastal Italian, Mimi Kakushi for modern Japanese, and the revived Rose Bar, alongside the Source by Delano spa, a wellness studio, the white infinity-edge pool and a new rooftop pool at the Delano Members Club.
