The place

The hotel stands at 4 Olympic Way in the Titanic Quarter, on Belfast's waterfront near Titanic Belfast and the site of the former Harland & Wolff shipyard where the Titanic was built.

The concept

Aloft Belfast Titanic Quarter opened on 1 June 2026 as the first Aloft-branded hotel in Northern Ireland and the first purpose-built hotel of its kind on this stretch of the Titanic Quarter waterfront. Developed by JMK Group in partnership with Marriott International, it opened alongside a sister Residence Inn as a dual-brand development, bringing 135 loft-style bedrooms with waterfront views to a district that previously had little non-budget hotel stock. The hotel follows Aloft's standard lifestyle-brand playbook — tech-forward rooms, a social, design-led public realm and a younger-skewing positioning — rather than offering a bespoke Belfast concept, but the waterfront setting next to Titanic Belfast and the Maritime Mile gives it a genuine locational edge.

Dining & wellness

The W XYZ Bar serves craft cocktails and hosts live music, while Re:Fuel offers grab-and-go food and drinks. The property also has a 24/7 gym (Re:Charge Fitness), meeting space, and a pet-friendly policy for dogs up to 35 lbs.
