Trailborn Jackson Hole

Trailborn Hotels & Resorts opened its largest property yet on June 3, 2026, reimagining the longtime Snow King Resort at the base of Snow King Mountain in downtown Jackson. The 203-room hotel and 45-unit condominium complex is the brand's first true ski-in/ski-out resort and a founding property of Marriott Bonvoy's new Outdoor Collection.

The place

The hotel sits at the foot of Snow King Mountain, a few blocks from Jackson's Town Square, on a site that has anchored the town's ski scene since the original resort opened in the 1970s. Guests step directly onto the mountain's trail network, while downtown restaurants, galleries and the square remain a short walk away, a pairing of slopeside access and town-center convenience that Teton Village properties or stand-alone mountain lodges don't offer.

The concept

Trailborn built its early portfolio on smaller adaptive-reuse hotels in towns like Ojai and Highlands, North Carolina; Jackson Hole marks a jump in scale. The brand took over the long-running Snow King Resort Hotel, a 1970s chalet-style building, and rebuilt it from the frame out with its in-house design studio, Vida Design and DYNIA Architects, working in reclaimed wood, native stone and blackened steel to keep the structure's Western bones while replacing everything else. The result, 203 hotel rooms plus 45 condominium residences, is Trailborn's largest property to date and its debut as a founding brand in Marriott Bonvoy's new Outdoor Collection, aimed at travelers who want serious trail and slope access without giving up hotel-grade service.

Dining & wellness

Old Timer Restaurant & Bar serves an apres-inspired American grill menu with classic cocktails, while Mountainside Bar & Cafe covers all-day coffee, drinks and shareable plates by the outdoor pool and hot tub. Ember Lily Spa adds a halotherapy salt lounge, a recovery room and treatment suites, and The Alley-Oop game room brings duckpin bowling and live sports into the mix, alongside more than 22,000 square feet of event space and the outdoor Teton Meadow lawn.
