The Yard Hotel

The Yard Hotel, an eight-story, roughly 160-room hotel planned at West Martin and South Flores Streets, is phase one of Weston Urban's Downtown West development around the San Antonio Missions' new Civic Park ballpark, targeting the ballpark's April 2028 season opener. Design review gave conceptual approval in early 2026, but no hotel brand or operator has yet been confirmed.

The concept

The Yard Hotel is phase one of Weston Urban's Downtown West mixed-use plan, an eight-story, roughly 160-room hotel with a ground floor coffee shop, bar and meeting space, plus a rooftop bar on the top floor overlooking the ballpark. San Antonio's Historic and Design Review Commission gave conceptual approval to the designs in March-April 2026. It is a real, named and financed project tied to the Missions' new downtown ballpark, targeting an April 2028 season opener, but no hotel brand or operator has been confirmed and no firm opening date has been set, so the opening stays TBC.

Dining & wellness

A ground-floor coffee shop and bar, plus a rooftop bar on the top floor overlooking the ballpark, are planned; no further F&B concepts have been announced.
