InterContinental San Antonio Riverwalk opened in August 2024, a 21-story, 390-room ground-up luxury build a mile from the Alamo with direct access to a water taxi landing. The hotel has four separate dining concepts, an 8,200 sq ft ballroom and a rooftop pool.

The concept

A 21-story, 390-room ground-up build designed by Leo A Daly, blending mid-century architecture with modern finishes in brass, marble, dark wood and cognac leather. Owned by Trailbreak Partners with Scarlett Hotel Group, it includes 18,000 sq ft of meeting space anchored by the 8,200 sq ft Pecan Ballroom, a rooftop pool, and a Club InterContinental Lounge.

Four dining concepts under Heartwood Hospitality and executive chef Andres Farias: Cavalier, a ground-floor American brasserie; Deco Bar, an upscale lobby cocktail bar; Rosebelly Coffee, a fast-casual café; and High Praise, a rooftop bar and restaurant with live weekend music.
