The place

The hotel occupies 736 Broad Street in downtown Chattanooga, the landmark Chattanooga Savings Bank & Trust Company building that stood vacant for nearly two decades before its restoration.

The concept

Wisconsin-based owner HKS Holdings invested roughly $59 million to convert R.H. Hunt's 1927 neoclassical bank building into a 148-room hotel, working with HK Architects and Dutch East Design to preserve arched windows, masonry and marble details while layering in a contemporary interior. Concord Hospitality operates the property under Hilton's Tapestry Collection banner.

Dining & wellness

Dining and drinks span the rooftop Iris Bar, a Market café, and The Vault, a speakeasy set inside the building's original bank vault.
