The concept A ground-up, $60 million project from Vision Hospitality Group, described locally as the largest downtown investment in over a decade. The all-suite format pairs Embassy Suites' standard offering — complimentary made-to-order breakfast and a nightly evening reception — with a rooftop restaurant and bar, developed and operated by SquareOne Holdings, overlooking the river and the Aquarium.
Dining & wellness A rooftop bar and restaurant, operated by SquareOne Holdings, overlooks the Tennessee River and Tennessee Aquarium; a separate street-level restaurant fronts Broad Street. Both are open to hotel guests and the public. The hotel also has a lobby bar and an indoor pool.
Our take A well-executed if familiar formula — Hilton's all-suite brand plus a river-view rooftop — but one that adds genuine new supply to downtown Chattanooga's hotel stock rather than converting or rebranding an existing property, at a scale (184 suites) the market's boutique conversions can't match.

I had an amazing stay in Chattanooga! The hotel was beautiful, clean, and modern. The perfect place to relax after a day of adventures.
My favorite parts of the stay were definitely the bed and the Manager’s Reception. The bed was incredibly clean and sooo soft… I was genuinely excited to come back and just lay down and relax.
The Manager’s Reception was also fantastic! They offered light appetizers and drinks, and Tina did an amazing job as bartender. She curated a special drink for me that was absolutely delicious.
I can’t wait to come back again!
We had a great time staying here. The room was spacious and clean. The hotel was very quiet and we couldn't hear our neighbors. They had a happy hour in the bar area everyday with complimentary snacks and a few tokens for free drinks. The pool was nice and a perfect temperature. The staff was very friendly. The location is perfect for walking around downtown. The restaurant was being renovated but still had plenty of available seating and offered breakfast. The breakfast was pretty good and offered a wide variety of options. We never tried to order from the restaurant but they do have a menu available. The patio was very nice.
Downsides for us was having to pay for valet because there is no hotel parking. They do a great job of course but it was still expensive especially when we hardly needed the car. They also didn't have free WiFi. The TV kept losing connection so sometimes the channels and/or app you were using would stop working.
Overall a very comfortable stay and we don't regret it at all.
Had a wonderful time celebrating my birthday. Would like to say Thank you to your Bartender,Tina She was Very friendly, helpful and made my stay a whole lot Brighter. Service with a smile, even with the system down. She is definitely 5 star ⭐. And the rest of the staff was very accommodating as well. 7th floor terrace is amazing. Location very convenient to everything.Thank you.
The location is definitely a strong point—very convenient and within walking distance to key attractions, which made getting around super easy. The hotel also offers complimentary evening drinks and snacks, which is a really nice and generous touch. If you’re traveling with kids, the pool is a great feature, and having laundry facilities on-site is very practical for longer stays.
That said, there are a few areas that could use improvement. The rooms felt quite small, especially for accommodating four adults—it didn’t feel very comfortable for that capacity. The pillows also need to be replaced, as they felt old and lacked proper support. Breakfast was acceptable, but the variety could definitely be improved to make it more enjoyable.
On a positive note, the staff were friendly and welcoming throughout our stay. A special thanks to Jason at the front desk, who stood out for his kindness and professionalism.
I recently stayed at the new Embassy Suites Chattanooga Downtown and had a largely positive experience. The hotel is brand new, and the facilities are exceptionally clean and well maintained. The rooms are notably quiet, and the beds are among the most comfortable I have encountered. The location is perfect for exploring downtown.
However, I would suggest two areas for improvement to enhance the guest experience:
Lighting Controls: The bedroom light switch is located on the side of the nightstand, which is unintuitive and difficult to locate. Adding a sign or indicator on the wall near the door where a standard light switch is expected would be very helpful. I had to call guest services to resolve this.
Evening Reception: The nightly reception runs from 5:00 to 6:30 PM, which feels restrictive compared to other Embassy Suites properties. Additionally, the snack selection was quite minimal, offering only three trail mix options. Given the high standard of food offerings usually associated with this brand, this was a minor letdown.
While I did not have the opportunity to use the indoor pool, the overall quality of the hotel, the peaceful rooms, and the prime location make this a property I would recommend.
