Embassy Suites by Hilton Chattanooga Downtown

Embassy Suites by Hilton Chattanooga Downtown opened on August 18, 2025 at 345 Broad Street. The seven-story building holds 184 suites and cost $60 million, a ground-up project by Vision Hospitality Group. A grand opening ceremony followed on September 9. Vision calls it its 15th hotel in Chattanooga, out of 44 across the country.

The place

The hotel stands on Broad Street in downtown Chattanooga, in the riverfront district near the Tennessee Aquarium. The rooftop is oriented toward the Tennessee River and the Aquarium, which is the main reason the site matters: most of the city's visitor draws sit within a short walk. Vision Hospitality Group, which operates 14 other hotels in the city, describes the project as a commitment to its hometown.

The concept

Local coverage described the $60 million project as the largest downtown investment in more than a decade. Vision Hospitality Group is a Chattanooga company. Its founder and chief executive, Mitch Patel, said the hotel reflected the group's long-standing commitment to its hometown and its belief in the city's continued growth.

The suites follow the Embassy Suites model: a separate living area, a complimentary made-to-order breakfast and an evening reception every night. Public areas include a contemporary lobby bar and an indoor pool. The hotel also has 3,000 square feet of flexible meeting space, offered for corporate events, weddings and social gatherings.

The food and beverage side is run with SquareOne Holdings, a local hospitality group that develops and operates both the rooftop venue and a street-level restaurant on Broad Street. Both are open to the public as well as to hotel guests.

Dining & wellness

A rooftop restaurant and bar sits above the Tennessee River and the Aquarium, operated by SquareOne Holdings. The hotel's own website had pointed to an opening in early 2026 for the rooftop, and its concept name had not been published at the time of writing.

The street-level restaurant fronts Broad Street. Its name has also not been announced. Inside, the lobby bar covers casual drinks, and the Embassy Suites breakfast and evening reception are served to guests.
