The place

1409 Market Street, in Chattanooga's Southside entertainment district, near the Chattanooga Choo Choo and Songbirds Guitar Museum.

The concept

Vision Hospitality Group's second Kinley property, following the brand's debut in downtown Cincinnati in early 2020. Local firm Tinker Ma designed the building as ground-up urban infill — principal architect Thomas Palmer described the goal as helping 'complete the street' — with an exposed-brick structural frame and floor-to-ceiling windows referencing Chattanooga's industrial architecture. Streetsense led the interiors, which lean on locally sourced furnishings and rotating exhibitions of local artists' work through the public spaces.

Dining & wellness

A coffee bar and lounge on the lower level, furnished with locally sourced pieces in earthen tones, serves as the hotel's main public gathering space.
