The concept
The Dean Cork opened on 10 December 2020 as the Cork outpost of Press Up Hospitality Group's design-led Dean Hotels brand, which also operates properties in Dublin and Galway. The Irish Times covered the opening as 'Ireland's newest boutique hotel' at the time, noting its design-forward positioning against Cork's more traditional hotel stock.
