The place
Moxy Cork occupies Camden Quay on the site of a former garden centre and, later, a circuit court, on the north bank of the River Lee.
The concept
Moxy Cork opened in September 2024 as one half of a twin-hotel, €40 million development on Camden Quay, built by Limerick-based Conack Construction and marking Marriott's arrival in Cork. The 153-room hotel spans six floors and shares its site with the adjoining Residence Inn, giving the development both a short-stay lifestyle property and a longer-stay extended-stay option.
Dining & wellness
Moxy's signature all-day bar-and-lobby format anchors the ground floor, combining check-in, bar and lounge seating into a single social space rather than a separate restaurant.
