JW Marriott Calgary

JW Marriott Calgary is planned as a 62-storey tower combining 248 guest rooms with 120 branded residences, part of a twin-tower joint venture between developers Truman and Louson at 15th Avenue and Macleod Trail SE, next to the BMO Centre. Announced in July 2025 alongside sibling projects W Calgary and an Autograph Collection hotel on Stampede Park, it remains in the regulatory approvals process, with an opening targeted for 2030.

The place

Planned for 15th Avenue and Macleod Trail SE, directly adjacent to the neighbouring W Calgary tower, across from Victoria Park-Stampede Station and the BMO Centre convention complex — the same Culture + Entertainment District corridor where Truman is separately building the Autograph Collection hotel on Stampede Park itself.

The concept

The JW Marriott tower is planned at 62 storeys, combining 248 guest rooms with 120 branded residences and roughly 32,500 square feet of meeting space, an indoor and outdoor pool, the brand's signature JW Market food hall, a JW Garden and a curated retail area.
