The place

Element sits at 2030 Element Lane inside the Reno Experience District (RED), a newly built mixed-use quarter of apartments, shops and a public park about two miles from Reno-Tahoe International Airport, on the city's east side toward Sparks.

The concept

Element is Marriott's eco-focused extended-stay brand, and this five-story, 170-suite property was built from scratch as the hospitality anchor of the Reno Experience District, a from-the-ground-up neighborhood that also includes two apartment complexes, an open-air market hall and a two-acre park. The hotel leans into its 'green from the ground up' positioning with eco-friendly materials and construction practices, and every room — from studios to the four-bedroom 'Studio Commons' suite — comes with a full kitchen, workspace and the Westin Heavenly Bed, aimed squarely at relocating professionals and long-stay business travelers rather than classic leisure guests. What distinguishes it from a standard extended-stay box is the district around it: RED was conceived as a walkable pocket of breweries, dining and entertainment rather than a stand-alone highway hotel, so Element functions as much as a neighborhood front door as a place to sleep.

Dining & wellness

Rise serves a complimentary hot breakfast each morning, Restore Pantry is a 24/7 self-serve market, and Revive Lobby Bar pours cocktails and local beer with a complimentary evening wine-and-beer reception. There is also a rooftop pool and a 24/7 fitness center; the hotel is pet-friendly with a dedicated 'Love That Dog' amenity program.
