Midtown and Music Row sit between downtown Nashville and Vanderbilt University — Music Row is the recording-industry district along 16th and 17th Avenues South that has anchored the country music business since the 1950s, while Midtown and neighboring Hillsboro Village fill the blocks around West End Avenue and Vanderbilt's campus. For a longer stay

The Conrad Nashville opened on West End Avenue in June 2022, roughly midway between downtown Broadway and Vanderbilt University; Hotel Fraye Nashville Midtown followed two months later on Broadway itself, less than a mile from Vanderbilt's medical center. Hayes Street Hotel, on the district's west end, has been open since 2017, the area's longest-standing hotel we track.
Hillsboro Village
The Chloe Nashville opened at 1906 Acklen Avenue in January 2026, between Vanderbilt University and Music Row, in the walkable retail strip around the historic Belcourt Theatre.
