The William Fell Baltimore, Tapestry Collection by Hilton, opened in April 2025 as a full renovation of the historic Admiral Fell Inn on the Fells Point waterfront. The 80-room hotel occupies a seven-building, 18th-century complex, with local art throughout and a signature restaurant serving Baltimore staples like jumbo lump crab.

The concept

A full renovation of the Admiral Fell Inn — an 18th-century, seven-building complex that has served as a boardinghouse, a YMCA and a vinegar-bottling factory before first becoming a hotel in 1985 — into Hilton's Tapestry Collection, Meyer Jabara Hotels' first Tapestry property. Renovated by local firm RD Jones + Associates, the hotel is named for William Fell, the neighborhood's first settler and builder, and displays local art including glasswork by Joseph A. Corcoran and photography by A. Aubrey Bodine.

Dining & wellness

The William Fell Tavern, led by executive chef Tom Collins, serves traditional American fare with Baltimore staples like jumbo lump crab and Orange Crushes. The hotel also has a lobby coffee bar, a fitness center and 2,400 sq ft of banquet/meeting space.
