The place
ROOST Baltimore sits at 2460 Terrapin Way inside Baltimore Peninsula, the roughly 235-acre waterfront redevelopment of the former Under Armour campus south of Federal Hill and Port Covington, on newly built ground rather than in a converted structure.
The concept
ROOST is Method Co.'s apartment-hotel brand, and the Baltimore property — its seventh — opened as an entirely new building within the still-forming Baltimore Peninsula district. The 81 furnished studio, one-, two- and three-bedroom units each include a full kitchen, positioning the hotel between a boutique stay and a long-term rental; Method Co. also leases 40 additional units in the same building to long-term residents who share the same amenities. Interiors draw on Baltimore's industrial and maritime past, translated into a design-forward, resort-casual register aimed at both leisure travelers and extended corporate stays tied to the Peninsula's growing office and residential population.
Dining & wellness
Amenities center on 20,000 square feet of indoor-outdoor space: an open-air pool lined with cabanas, an outdoor fireplace, and a full-service hybrid bar and lounge, plus a 24/7 concierge and a fitness center with Peloton bikes. No standalone sit-down restaurant is confirmed by available sources.
