The place
Within the Nova Centre complex in downtown Halifax, adjacent to the Halifax Convention Centre, with rooms overlooking the Halifax waterfront, harbour and Citadel Hill.
The concept
The Atlantic Canada debut for Sutton Place Hotels, developed in partnership with Joe Ramia as part of the mixed-use Nova Centre complex next to the Halifax Convention Centre — a genuinely new operation rather than a conversion or rebrand. Interiors mix Italian marble in the lobby with a navy-and-gold palette drawing on both European hotel tradition and the city's maritime setting; guest rooms include spa-inspired bathrooms.
Dining & wellness
Chop Steakhouse & Bar operates on-site; the hotel also has an outdoor patio with a hot tub and fire pits, and an upscale fitness facility.
