Sandman Signature is the premium tier of the 100%-Canadian-owned Sandman Hotel Group, and this 215-room property is the brand's first Signature-branded hotel in Manitoba and the group's second address in Winnipeg. Guest rooms span nine categories across a six-storey building, up to loft suites on the top floor, with contemporary finishes including rain showers and soaker tubs in select suites. It reads as a category upgrade for Winnipeg's airport-hotel tier: amenities more commonly found downtown — a waterslide, a full fitness centre, meaningful meeting space — dropped next to the airport corridor rather than reserved for the city centre.
