Road House Hotel

A ground-up, 125-room boutique hotel is rising on a former industrial lot in the Anaheim Resort district, directly across from Anaheim GardenWalk and a 20-minute walk from Disneyland. Developer RH Anaheim Barn, LLC cleared the site in 2025 for the six-story project, which remains unbranded and without a confirmed opening date.

The place

The hotel sits at 1730 S. Clementine Street in the Anaheim Resort district, directly across from the Anaheim GardenWalk retail and entertainment complex and roughly a 20-minute walk from Disneyland Park. The block has filled in with resort hotels over the past decade, including a JW Marriott across the street, leaving this 0.68-acre former industrial parcel as one of the district's last undeveloped sites.

The concept

Developer RH Anaheim Barn, LLC is replacing a vacant industrial building and surface parking with a six-story, 70,901-square-foot hotel designed by AXIS/GFA, mixing board-and-batten siding, glass and metal in what the architect calls a modern take on classic American architecture. The pitch is a boutique alternative to the convention and theme-park chain hotels that dominate the immediate area. The project secured its entitlements — a General Plan Amendment, Specific Plan Amendment and related permits — back in 2020, then sat dormant until the site was cleared in 2025 ahead of construction. No hotel brand or management company has been named publicly; as it stands, this reads as an independently branded, independently operated property.

Dining & wellness

Plans call for a rooftop pool deck and bar positioned for Disneyland fireworks views, a ground-floor restaurant and small market, a guest lounge, a fitness room, and 86 on-site parking spaces. No food-and-beverage concept or operator has been announced for any of these outlets.
