Hotel Lulu, BW Premier Collection opened in May 2021, a full renovation of the former Red Lion Hotel Anaheim Resort into a 310-room, mid-century-modern-styled property steps from Disneyland. Owner J Street Hospitality and operator Azul Hospitality Group built it around signature restaurant Lulu's Kitchen and an Intelligentsia coffee bar.

The place

The hotel sits just steps from the Disneyland Resort gates and a few minutes from the Anaheim Convention Center, in the same walkable resort-district footprint as this guide's other tracked Anaheim hotels.

The concept

Hotel Lulu is a full renovation and rebrand of the former Red Lion Hotel Anaheim Resort, repositioned by owner J Street Hospitality and operator Azul Hospitality Group, both based in San Diego, under BWH Hotels' independent-leaning BW Premier Collection flag. The design draws on the property's 1960s roots — mid-century modern lines, playful colour accents and a record player in the lobby — for a Palm Springs-adjacent aesthetic distinct from the area's theme-park-branded hotels.

Dining & wellness

The hotel runs signature restaurant Lulu's Kitchen and a coffee bar, Lulu's Coffee, serving Intelligentsia Coffee, an outdoor pool with fire pits and dining areas, a 24-hour fitness centre, roughly 5,400 square feet of meeting and event space, and an onsite Disneyland Insiders concierge team.
