Mondrian Abu Dhabi

Mondrian Abu Dhabi, announced in March 2023 for a repeatedly revised opening now targeted for 2026, will be Ennismore's first UAE property, a roughly 15-floor tower on the Abu Dhabi canal designed by Tristan Du Plessis with 221 rooms and suites, 80 serviced apartments, and a rooftop pool alongside a separate lagoon pool.

The place

The hotel is planned for Downtown Abu Dhabi alongside the Abu Dhabi canal, with waterfront views over Reem Island and Al Maryah Island, developed in partnership with Al Hazoom Group.

The concept

Mondrian Abu Dhabi, announced in March 2023, will be the brand's first UAE property, designed by Tristan Du Plessis around a contemporary interpretation of Middle Eastern architectural motifs across roughly 15 floors overlooking the canal. Plans call for six food-and-beverage venues, a rooftop pool and a separate crystal-clear lagoon pool, a ballroom, four meeting rooms, a spa and a kids' club.
