The place

The resort sits within verdant gardens on Saadiyat Island, Abu Dhabi's cultural and beach district, home to the Louvre Abu Dhabi and, since, the Guggenheim Abu Dhabi.

The concept

Rixos Premium Saadiyat Island was Rixos Hotels' first property in Abu Dhabi, built around an Ottoman-palace-inspired design and the group's ultra-all-inclusive format, distinguishing it from the mostly European Rixos properties that preceded it. At 288 rooms and 12 villas, the resort includes a waterpark and one of Saadiyat Island's largest spas, positioned as a family and leisure resort rather than the more design-forward boutique hotels also opening on the island around the same period.

Dining & wellness

Guests dine across ten restaurants and bars covered under the resort's all-inclusive plan, spanning Italian to Asian cuisines, alongside a Turkish-inspired spa with an ice room and private outdoor pool.
