In December 2025, the Hastings Street address long known as Sofitel Noosa Pacific Resort reopened as Elysium Noosa Resort, MGallery Collection, following a redesign led by Melbourne studio Mitchell & Eades. The 175-room resort recasts Noosa's flagship hotel around wellness, adding plunge-pool suites, a dedicated spa, and an Italian restaurant from Sydney chefs Alessandro and Anna Pavoni.

The concept
A roughly AUD 30 million redesign turns the former Sofitel Noosa Pacific Resort (once a 1980s Sheraton) into a wellness-oriented five-star property, with Melbourne studio Mitchell & Eades reworking all 175 rooms and suites around plunge pools, private cabanas and a purpose-built spa.
